It = would appear that local idiot and WMAY yapper, “Jim Leach” is again testing the boundaries of ignorance. On Monday’s program, “Forr= est Leech” exhibited once again he is an order of French Fries short of a happy meal. Jimmy postulated his preference to an unnamed Supreme Court Jus= tice concluding women, minorities and the infirm need be more represented on the august, legal body. Proving; yet again, “to all t= hat listened to his tortured logic” that this professional panderer could= n’t fire two neurons at the same time if he held a lightning rod in his teeth at the height of a thunder storm.

For= emost and let me emphasize this; The United States Supreme Court is not a representa= tive body. For added effect, “THE UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT IS NOT A REPRESENTATIVE BODY”. If one could apply that noun to the court they would represent the rule of law and our constitution. Also, I’ve had = it with a nominee’s life experience and perspective. Just what in the he= ll does that mean? The mission of the court is to apply the law and uphold the constitution.

Loo= k, this isn’t rocket science. Liberals want two bites at this legal appl= e. They denounced George Bush for trampling the constitution by wiretapping bloodthirsty Jihadists and engaging in water sports when he got his hands on them. Yet; their litmus test for justices requires that they be moderate and mainstream in their judicial opinions. Moderate and mainstream, really̷= 0;? What about a fidelity to the constitution that justices swear to uphold.

And; don’t throw the interpretation mud pie against the wall…it won’t stick. The constitution is a fairly easy read. On the occasion wherein justices are actually befuddled as to the framers intent, simply re= ad the words and thoughts of Adams, Jefferson and Franklin. Read the Federalis= ts papers. Read Franklins diary. Read Jefferson’s journal. S= imply read the minutes of the constitutional convention. It’s all there.

We = know damn well what the intent of our founders was. What they pledged their live= s, their fortunes and their sacred honor for. Study article two of our constitution in which the powers given to the federal government are enumerated. Peruse the tenth amendment where decreed that those powers not enumerated to the federal government are left to the state; after that expl= ain again about demographic representation on the court.<= /p>

Ign= oring the fact that companies operating within the United States adhere to the thirty-five percent corporate tax rate on profits remunerated within this country yet also obliging the corporate tax liabilities incurred in all oth= er countries they trade goods and services in. Obama’s thugocracy intend= s to tax corporations twice. For instance; Hewlett Packard, a company engaged in worldwide enterprise, would pay 35% in corporate earnings they tallied in <= st1:country-region w:st=3D"on">France to the government of this country w= hile also paying 33.33% of their profits in taxes to France. This is sold as saving American jobs and bringing back patriotism to corporate America= .

Wha= t it will do, “for those companies who comply” is to make them uncompetitive in the world markets. In reality; this will cause corporation= s to re-incorporate outside of the United States. Of course, there was that pesky nomenclature from the Leechster allowing that corporate America= owes something to this country. That it is patriotic for companies to pay more taxes, to give something back. Well; spank my ass and call me Judy. When I = studied business it was made fairly clear to me that companies had a fiduciary responsibility to their stockholders. Not to the IRS.

I g= et the talk radio thing. It’s all about conflict and boiling the blood of the listeners. Still; there should be some semblance of sanity. And; I’m a free speech guy; all conservatives are. Yet; idiocy should be pointed out whenever it rears its ugly head. I’m just saying…
